BNE Real Estate Group has opened the doors to a collection of nearly 300 apartments in South Amboy, the first piece of a $500 million redevelopment along the Raritan Bay.
According to the developer, leasing is now underway at what it calls Station Bay, which has brought a mix of studio, one-beroom and two-bedroom homes to a site off Radford Ferry Road. It’s now seeking to lure renters with some 37,000 square feet of amenity space and the promise of multimodal mass transit access, which includes an adjacent train station and a soon-to-be-constructed ferry terminal nearby.
Monthly net effective rents start at $1,989, with grand opening incentives.
“As the first new luxury development on the Raritan Bay, Station Bay provides an unparalleled lifestyle: its convenient transit-friendly location, waterfront setting and state-of-the-art amenities create a living experience that’s on par with some of the top residential buildings in Manhattan,” said Jonathan Schwartz, partner at BNE Real Estate Group. “We’re already seeing incredible interest and demand for this property, which is truly a one-of-a-kind offering in the area here is no better time to settle into Station Bay than right now.”
In a news release, BNE noted that the 291-unit property is also minutes from South Amboy’s downtown. Apartments have high-end design, appliances and finishes, while residents will enjoy amenities such as a lobby coffee bar, entertainment lounges, a Matrix fitness center with separate yoga and spin studios and a co-working lounge, along with two outdoor courtyards with a swimming pool, an outdoor bar and grilling areas, among other spaces.
Residents at Station Bay will have quick access to the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike and routes 9 and 440.
