A custom bracelet retailer has leased nearly 7,000 square feet to expand its footprint at a Union County business park, under a deal arranged by NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co.
Brokers say the tenant, Little Words Project LLC, now occupies a combined 15,000 square feet at the Mountainside property after its recent lease. NAI DiLeo-Bram Chief Operating Officer David Simon and Kyle Gerace, an associate with the firm, represented ownership in the deal at 1160 Route 22, as they did in an earlier lease at an adjacent building.
“The owner invested a significant amount of money into this complex prior to going to market and the buildings showed impeccably,” Simon said. He noted that Adriana Carrig, the founder of Little Words Project, has grown the company since launching it eight years ago.
“The owner is very entrepreneurial and was happy to play a part in the growth of Adriana’s company,” Simon added. “She created a space that is open and has an energetic feel for her business and her employees, and we are excited to see her continued success.”
In announcing the deal, Simon’s team noted that Little Words Project creates hand-crafted bracelets that contain unique words and messages that encourage customers to share and spread kindness. Its offerings include a collection called Little Words Big Impact, in which 25 percent of each bracelet’s sales is donated back to the nonprofit organization it supports.
NAI DiLeo-Bram added that the property, located along Route 22, has industrial, flex and office space with strong highway exposure and easy access to major roadways including Interstate 78, the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike. The complex also has above-standard parking and access to Spruce Drive.
