PS&S has promoted Daniel Caldwell and Michael Newton to vice president roles, citing their contributions to its Cherry Hill-based team of consultants and design professionals.
The firm noted that Caldwell, who has more than 30 years of experience working in environmental compliance and business development, has provided essential support to its growth initiatives. He joined PS&S in 2024 via the company’s acquisition of Stout & Caldwell, where he spent 20 years, and most recently served as a senior director of business development.
Newton, meantime, has worked at PS&S for seven years and has 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and remediation, overseeing complex industrial and commercial projects, according to a news release. He most recently was the firm’s senior director of environmental services.
“Daniel and Michael have helped strengthen PS&S’s environmental and business development capabilities through their leadership, industry expertise and strong client relationships,” said John Sartor, CEO and president of the Warren-based firm. “Their experience and collaborative approach will continue to play an important role as we expand our environmental services and support clients navigating increasingly complex projects.”
PS&S announced the promotions while noting that Caldwell serves on the board of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA, as board president of the Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood’s Friends of MEND and as a board member of Businesses Committed to South Jersey. He is a former chair of the Burlington County Workforce Investment Board and served on Mansfield Township’s Environmental Compliance Review Commission from 2004 to 2023.
“PS&S has built a reputation for delivering smart, integrated solutions that help clients move projects forward with confidence, and I’m excited to continue expanding those relationships in my new role as vice president,” Caldwell said. “Our clients are facing increasingly complex challenges, and I look forward to helping them navigate growth opportunities with the full strength of PS&S’s multidisciplinary expertise, responsiveness and commitment to long-term relationships.”
Newton is a member of the Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association, the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists – NYP Chapter and NAIOP’s Regulatory Affairs Committee.
“I’m thrilled to step into this role at PS&S,” Newton said. “This organization is built on strong core values, has exceptional people at all levels and across all disciplines and a leader that truly understands all of our practice areas, clients and people. I’m proud to be a part of PS&S and excited to work with this amazing team to achieve our ambitious goals.”
The firm — whose services include architecture, engineering, design, surveying and environmental consulting — said the promotions are part of a broader series of leadership announcements across its team. PS&S has also promoted Lisa DiGerolamo to executive vice president and has made several other vice president appointments.
