A freight forwarding and supply chain management firm has renewed its nearly 300,000-square-foot lease at a Carteret industrial property, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. said Monday.
The firm announced that it represented Toll Global Forwarding in the long-term lease at 800 Federal Blvd. The firm will occupy the entire Prologis-owned building, which is near Exit 12 of the New Jersey Turnpike and sits on 13.79 acres.
Steve Bussel, president of Edison-based BRC, represented the tenant, the firm said in a news release. CBRE represented Prologis.
“The quality space and strategic location of the property in Carteret made perfect sense for Toll Global Forwarding and why they chose to remain in the property instead of relocating,” commented Bussel.
Built in 1984, the property offers 24-foot ceiling heights, 48-foot-by-41-foot column spacing, modern sprinklers, 58 tailboards and two drive-in doors for loading, Bussel said. The property also has 139 surfaces spaces for parking and is proximate to Port Newark/Elizabeth, New York City and Newark Liberty Airport.
