A burger chain is expanding to New Jersey after leasing nearly 2,600 square feet in Woodland Park, in a newly announced deal by Bussel Realty Corp.
In a news release, the brokerage team said Holy Cow Burgers is slated to open by early fall at 654 McBride Ave., an 8,000-square-foot mixed-use property about a half-mile from Interstate 80. The business will occupy 2,570 square feet under the lease with 654 McBride LLC.
BRC vice presidents Chandler Vanderbeek and Connor Vanderbeek represented the tenant, which was founded in 2018 on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
“This will be Holy Cow Burgers’ first location in New Jersey as they currently have nine locations across New York and Texas,” Connor Vanderbeek said. “Holy Cow Burgers are made with the highest-quality meat and offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, which will be a great addition to the Woodland Park community.”
The brokers noted that the strip center has 123 feet of frontage on McBride Avenue and 25 parking spaces. It includes 3,500 square feet of retail space and 3,796 square feet of residential space, BRC said, adding that Holy Cow Burgers joins co-tenant Tommy’s Taste of Italy.
