An electronics and entertainment company will occupy nearly two-thirds of a South Plainfield industrial building, following a 76,640-square-foot lease brokered by Bussel Realty Corp.
In a news release, BRC said it represented landlord Teitelbaum Partners LP in the deal at 140 South Ave. The tenant, the Gradus Group LLC, will use the space for the warehousing and distribution of its products throughout the region and the country.
BRC Senior Vice President Earl Lapides said those products include photography, video, audio, computer, home and portable entertainment equipment.
Lapides, along with senior vice presidents Stephen Nozza and John Cascio, handled the assignment for Edison-based BRC. Imperial Real Estate represented the tenant.
Gradus Group’s new home sits directly off Exit 4 of Interstate 287, providing access to the New Jersey Turnpike, routes 1, 9 and 440 and the Outerbridge Crossing. The property totals 119,935 square feet and has 20-foot ceilings, 32-foot-by-32-foot column spacing, tailboard and drive-in loading, wet sprinklers and ample power and parking.
