Duke Realty Corp. is planning a 76,000-square-foot industrial project in Piscataway after acquiring a nearly six-acre parcel near Interstate 287, according to Bussel Realty Corp.
Brokers with BRC represented the seller, Avis Car Rentals, in its disposition of 141 Circle Drive North. The firm touted the site as one of the last parcels of industrial-zoned flat land in central New Jersey, providing a location in one of the state’s burgeoning submarkets.
Terms were not disclosed. BRC Vice President Anthony Mircovich completed the assignment, with Colliers International representing the buyer in the deal.
Located adjacent to Possumtown Road, the 5.59-acre site is just off Exit 8 of I-287. The property is surrounded by corporate and industrial complexes, retail, hotels and multifamily complexes.
