Industry veteran Kim Brennan has returned to Cushman & Wakefield, where she will focus on business development in the office and corporate real estate sectors.
The real estate services firm said that Brennan, a managing director, joins a Morristown-based team led by Bob Donnelly and Robert Donnelly Jr. and will help clients find space that accomplishes their corporate objectives. The move follows four years at CBRE, where Brennan drove business initiatives, strategic planning, recruiting and overall broker business development in the office leasing, capital markets and debt and structured finance sectors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kim back to Cushman & Wakefield,” said Bob Donnelly, an executive vice chair with the firm. “Her extensive expertise and deep relationships within various sectors will further strengthen our ability to provide unparalleled results to our clients.”
Brennan, Cushman’s onetime market leader in New Jersey, spent 10 years with the firm before joining Colliers International in 2015 as its chief operating officer in the tristate region. She held the position for three years before moving on to CBRE.
“Cushman & Wakefield’s success is rooted in the exceptional talents of our professionals, and we are committed to attracting and retaining the top talent in the industry,” said Peter Bronsnick, managing principal of New Jersey. “Our deep bench of brokerage professionals allows us to provide our clients with best-in-class services and positions our firm to capitalize on growth opportunities and expand our market share.”
Brennan has earned recognition in multiple “Women of Influence” and “40 Under 40” lists in commercial real estate, having also been named to NJBIZ’s Top Fifty Women in Business list in April 2011, according to a news release. She is a NAIOP New Jersey trustee and has co-chaired its gala committee, while she has served as director of programming for CREW New Jersey and was a founding member of the BOMA Research Council.
C&W added that Brennan holds a degree in political science with a concentration in American government from Seton Hall University.
