The Blau & Berg Co. has promoted one of its longtime members to principal and senior director.

In a news release, the Short Hills-based firm on Tuesday announced the promotion of Christian Walsifer. He has consistently been one of the firm’s top producers since joining in 2006, with responsibilities that include all phases of real estate negotiations, cost analyses and landlord/tenant relationships.
“Christian is an invaluable member of the team and a trusted partner,” Jason M. Crimmins, president of Blau & Berg, said in a prepared statement. “His deep industry knowledge and proven leadership skills make him a great fit for this expanded role in the company.”
Walsifer holds a degree in chemical engineering and finance from Rutgers University.
“I have been with the company for 11 years, and becoming a shareholder reignites my commitment to building the business through the longstanding values upon which the company was built,” Walsifer said. “The Blau & Berg Company is recognized as trusted real estate company because of these values and that means a lot in today’s world. Trust and integrity, dedicated service and client success — that’s the legacy I look forward to continuing.”
