A restaurant supplier is expanding its footprint with its purchase of more than 71,000 square feet of industrial space in Pennsauken, according to brokers with Colliers International.

The Brooklyn-based buyer, listed as BakeDeco/Kerekes, paid an undisclosed sum for the property at 6950 Sherman Lane, the brokerage team said. Its new space, which totals 71,280 square feet, provides it with a location near Route 130 and quick access to other area highways.

“This is a terrific building for our client and affords them the opportunity to accommodate their growth,” said Colliers’ Ian Richman, who represented the buyer alongside Marc Isdaner. “We are in the midst of an unprecedented imbalance of supply and demand and to find an asset like this in this environment, we are thrilled with the outcome for BakeDeco.”

Marc Policarpo of Westfield Real Estate represented the seller. Colliers said the building, previously occupied by Boomerang Office Furniture, has 4,558 square feet of office space, 24-foot clear ceiling heights and nine loading docks.
