National retailer Dollar Tree has added five new locations in New Jersey, following a series of leases arranged by R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC.
The retail brokerage, which is Dollar Tree’s exclusive real estate representative in the state, said the largest among them is a 12,230-square-foot space at 249 East Front St. in downtown Plainfield. The single-price-point operator will join Plainfield Plaza, a 50,000-square-foot center anchored by Supremo Food Market.
R.J. Brunelli President and Principal Danielle Brunelli-Albrecht brokered the deal for the store, which is expected to open in August. Dollar Tree’s other recent commitments include a 10,200-square-foot freestanding space on Route 37 in Toms River that opened in April.
Brunelli-Albrecht also represented the company in a 10,000-square-foot lease at the new Bergen Point Retail Center in Bayonne, a 9,100-square-foot newly constructed building 42 North Blackhorse Pike in Bellmawr and a 9,300-square-foot space at Plaza 70, located at 85 Route 70 in Marlton.
The Marlton store is expected to open in July, followed by Bayonne in December and Bellmawr in the first quarter of 2018, according to a news release from the Old Bridge-based brokerage.
