A top trade association has honored Hoboken-based Caryl Communications for its work involving a longtime client in the commercial real estate sector.
The public relations and marketing firm last week announced that it has received an Anvil Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America, noting that the program recognizes top campaigns on a national level. The association highlighted the Caryl team in connection with North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corp.’s Retail Sentiment Survey, which takes place three times annually and involves more than 1,000 tenants within LMC’s portfolio.
“The Anvils are among the most coveted, peer-judged awards in public relations and strategic communications, highlighting the outstanding work being accomplished within our industry,” said Sandy Crisafulli, Caryl Communications’ president. “We are proud of this honor but even prouder of our award-winning partnership — nearly 30 years strong — with Levin Management Corporation.”
A well-respected commercial real estate services provider with a 125-property, retail-focused leasing and management portfolio, LMC conducts its survey by polling the store managers of tenants across its footprint. Caryl Communications has helped orchestrate the surveys throughout the program’s 12-year history, including research and planning, execution and analysis, press release development and distribution and media relations.
In addition to this year’s Anvil, Caryl’s work with the LMC Retail Sentiment Survey previously earned a PRSA-NJ Pyramid Award, according to a news release. The initiative also has earned accolades such as “Best Industry Research” in Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s annual “Best Of” program.
“The Retail Sentiment Survey is one of our favorite ongoing projects,” Crisafulli said. “It ultimately generates actionable, street-level market intelligence the Levin team can leverage to build relationships, reinforce its brand and share with tenants and prospects. The results draw consistent media interest as well, reflecting this indicator-industry’s performance, and retailers’ outlooks and responses to economic shifts and evolving trends.”
Celebrating its 75-year anniversary, PRSA is the leading professional organization serving the communications community through a network of more than 400 professional and student chapters in the U.S., Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico.
