A longtime office broker with CBRE’s New Jersey team has earned a promotion to first vice president.
The real estate services firm on Wednesday announced the new title for Peter N. Shikar, who joined CBRE in 2011. Specializing in strategic planning and developing long-term real estate solutions for his clients, he has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and new business development.
He focuses exclusively on office leasing and sales with CBRE, providing occupier and owner representation on both the national and international level.
“Peter is widely recognized by his clients and colleagues as one of the top professionals in our industry,” said Jeff Hipschman, senior managing director of CBRE’s New Jersey offices. “During his tenure at CBRE, he has carved out a remarkable career generating outstanding results for our clients. Shikar has represented owners throughout New Jersey, including KABR Group, National Business Parks and The Silverman Group. A licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey and New York, he holds a bachelor’s in finance and an MBA from the City University of New York Baruch College.
