NAI James E. Hanson has negotiated a 6,200-square-foot lease for industrial space at 262 Hudson St. in Hackensack.
In a news release, the firm said Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the landlord, Hudson Mason Supply LLC, in the transaction with United Network Communications Corp. The tenant, a cell tower repair business, is relocating from Brooklyn to the nearly one-acre property just north of Interstate 80.
“Demand continues to rise for strategically located industrial space in northern New Jersey, particularly for properties with outdoor storage,” Lizzack said. “While these property owners are in a great position to secure record-setting rents in areas such as Hackensack, securing the highest possible per-square-foot price isn’t the most important task. It’s finding reputable tenants that match with the landlord’s expectations and the property’s use and location to ensure that both parties find success during their agreement. Using our marketing capabilities and thorough contact list, we’re able to secure a match between landlord and tenant and deliver value to our client amidst the aggressive market we’re seeing today.”
In announcing the deal, NAI Hanson said 262 Hudson St. is a 7,200-square-foot building with ceiling heights of nearly 15 feet and just over 23 feet. It also has one drive-in loading door with a 13-foot-by-14-foot door and fenced storage yard with a surveillance system.
