The township of Cherry Hill has acquired a 26-acre tract in the municipality for nearly $3.9 million, in a deal arranged by Rose Commercial Real Estate.
According to a news release, the Holly Ravine Farm at 350 East Evesham Road will be preserved as open space after the sale by the estate of Eva D. Gilmour. Rose Commercial represented both parties in the deal, noting that residents had spoken out about an earlier proposal in which an out-of-state developer hoped to build a senior living facility.
Jeff Lucas, director of business development with Rose Commercial, completed the assignment. The deal was valued at $3.859 million.
