NAI James E. Hanson has negotiated the sale of a 12,900-square-foot building in Lodi.
In a news release, the firm said Vice President Anthony Cassano represented both the buyer, R & May Transportation LLC, and the seller, 30 Rt 46 LLC, in the transaction at 30 Route 46 East. The brokerage team said the property, located on the western edge of Lodi, has 225-foot frontage and on-site parking, with permitted uses including retail, restaurant, car wash and service station, automotive and business supply, as well as professional and medical use.
Childe Transportation Service was seeking to relocate from Passaic County to expand its business, which provides transportation services to handicapped children, according to a news release.
“Buildings that are permitted for multiple uses present a tremendous opportunity for owners to maximize the value of their asset,” Cassano said. “This opens the door for service industry users to take advantage of the premier locations typically seen in retail-specific locations along highly trafficked highways. I’m very happy to have played a role in bringing this needed service into Lodi and wish them continued success.”
