Colliers International has bolstered its New Jersey industrial practice with the addition of two veteran brokers.
Douglas Bansbach and Linda Hill join the real estate services firm as an executive managing director and senior managing director, respectively. They are based in Woodbridge, bringing more than 45 years of combined experience across investment sales, landlord representation, national tenant representation and corporate asset dispositions.
Both were previously with Cushman & Wakefield.
“We’re thrilled to have industry professionals like Douglas and Linda join our growing New Jersey team,” said Dennis Waggner, executive managing director and New Jersey market leader for Colliers. “Attracting such well-respected leaders is evidence of our dedication to expanding our footprint across the state. Their years of expertise across a variety of sectors will be invaluable as we continue to deliver the best results for our clients.”
Colliers announced the moves Monday, highlighting transactions by Bansbach and Hill including a 450,000-square-foot lease for IDI Logistics. The team has also facilitated a 40-acre land lease for Arizona Beverage to build a 600,000-square-foot bottling plant, a 500,000-square-foot lease to DSV and the sale of the former Ocean Spray facility in Bordentown, along with the sale of a 60-acre parcel in Perth Amboy to Bridge Industrial.
Bansbach, who was a senior director with Cushman & Wakefield, started his real estate career in 1988 at Jacobson, Goldfarb & Tanzman and later served as senior vice president at Colliers Houston & Co. from 2006 to 2010, according to a news release. Prior to his real estate career, he served as a vice president at Citibank, working in foreign exchange transactions.
“I am very excited to join Colliers and join the New Jersey industrial team,” Bansbach said. “Colliers has demonstrated a commitment to hiring a world-class leadership team and I look forward to capitalizing on the many opportunities we see that will bring value to our clients.”
Hill, who was a director with Cushman & Wakefield, has also served as a vice president at Lee & Associates New Jersey. She began her real estate career in 2001 as an associate at Coldwell Banker Commercial.
“Colliers’ collaborative environment, entrepreneurial and talented professionals and strong technology provides clients the best possible service in the industry,” Hill said. “I’m pleased to join Dennis’ team and believe that my 15 years spent in the industry will be a valuable asset to the firm.”
