French’s Food Co. has inked a long-term renewal for its global headquarters at a 32,000-square-foot office building in Chester, Colliers International Group Inc. said Friday.
The real estate services firm, which represented the landlord, said French’s recommitted to the space at 2-4 Mill Ridge Lane after exploring other options. The new deal means the company will continue to be the sole tenant at the property.
Colliers’ Richard Mirliss, along with Richard Madison and Alex Vitro of the firm’s Parsippany office, handled the assignment, according to a news release. Newark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant, which is a Reckitt Benckiser brand.
“The property’s owner, VEREIT, Inc., retained us for this key renewal assignment,” Mirliss said in a prepared statement. “Within two months we had an agreement for this desirable credit tenant to remain in place. The recommitment by Reckitt Benckiser — one of the world’s leading consumer goods organizations — ensures property’s continued success.”
French’s is best known for its Classic Yellow Mustard. The firm manufactures and distributes several household-name condiment and snack products.
