A building and construction products distributor has extended its 112,000-square-foot lease in North Brunswick, brokers with Colliers International announced Monday.
The real estate services firm represented the tenant, Parksite, in the lease at 621 Route 1 South with Seagis Property Group. The deal comes after a search that included several other locations, Colliers said, noting that industrial space in New Jersey remains in short supply.
The Colliers team included executive managing directors Mike Markey and Jon Tesser of the firm’s New Jersey office and Matthew Stauber, an executive vice president in the Chicago office. They noted that Parksite has operated the building for several years, touting its outdoor storage, cost and accessibility to the company’s clients in the Northeast.
“Quality industrial product is hard to come by in this market,” Markey said. “In reviewing all of the factors and available options, we came to the conclusion that keeping Parksite at its home in North Brunswick was the right move. The facilities, price and location of the property will help Parksite continue to thrive for years to come.”
