A developer has sold what will soon be its former headquarters building, a 43,000-square-foot complex along Route 73 in Mount Laurel.
Colliers International, which brokered the sale, said The Bloom Organization will soon vacate its longtime home at 1300 Route 73. An affiliate of Needleman Management Co. acquired the multitenant property for an undisclosed price.
“To me, having a strong, local investment group with a proven track record purchase a stabilized office asset in the midst of the ongoing pandemic should provide everyone with a sense of stability,” said Colliers’ Evan Zweben, who represented the seller alongside Marc Isdaner and Ian Richman.
In a news release, Colliers noted that 1300 Route 73 is also home to Core Title, The Law Offices of Dembo, Brown and Burns and, starting next month, Control Point Associates, among others. Brokers are now marketing Bloom’s existing 5,700-square-foot space for lease, noting that it has first-floor lobby access, two private restrooms and three walls of windows.
“We believe the fundamentals are there for the southern New Jersey office market to remain strong and vibrant in the years to come,” said David Cohen, president of Needleman Management. “Bloom Court has the ‘three L’s’ that you learn about early on in real estate — location, location, location.’
“We look forward to adding Bloom Court to our portfolio and providing its tenants with the same great experience they received from Bloom.”
