A warehouse and trucking firm is consolidating locations, having leased more than 150,000 square feet of industrial space in Logan Township.
The tenant, Champion Services, has inked the full-building commitment at 1 Warner Court as part of a newly announced transaction by Colliers International. Property owner GFI Partners is now set to make a series of upgrades for the containerized and domestic freight hauler, whose new location sits within the Pureland Industrial Park along Interstate 295.
“We extend a warm welcome to our newest tenant,” said GFI’s Brian Poitras, whose firm is based in Boston. “As a leading logistics firm Champion Services said 1 Warner Court’s attractive location and access was a perfect fit.”
Colliers’ Marc Isdaner represented ownership, while Scott Mertz of NAI Mertz represented the tenant in the 151,600-square-foot deal. In a news release, the brokerage team noted that 1 Warner Court sits directly off I-295 Exit 10 and a few miles from the New Jersey Turnpike.
GFI’s planned improvements to the building include expanding the parking lot to allow for additional trailer parking, new LED lighting, a new roof and white boxing of the warehouse area, Colliers said. Champion Services is consolidating into the complex from multiple regional locations.
