Community Investment Strategies has started construction on a project that will bring 86 affordable, age-restricted homes to the Burlington County township of Moorestown.
Known as Heritage Village at Moorestown, the project on Oakly Drive is slated to open next year with a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments for residents who are 55 and older. Plans also call for amenities such as a community room, a fitness center, a library and a resident lounge.
“We are proud to offer true affordable living for individuals 55 and over who want to remain in Moorestown,” said Christiana Foglio, CEO and president of Community Investment Strategies. “Heritage Village at Moorestown will build upon our award-winning design of senior living to create a vibrant community that enables residents to thrive.”
The property will be among the latest in several ongoing construction projects for CIS, which is based in Lawrenceville. The prominent development firm specializes in affordable housing projects throughout New Jersey, boasting a portfolio that includes more than 4,000 units throughout the state.
