A global cosmetics company is bringing its U.S. headquarters to the Glenpointe campus in Teaneck after a newly completed lease with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
According to the landlord, Kolmar Korea is taking 16,102 square feet at Glenpointe Centre West, one of three sections within the 670,000-square-foot office campus on Frank W. Burr Boulevard. The space will serve as a new hub for the 32-year-old, South Korea-based company, which focuses on cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and health-functional foods and has offices and manufacturing locations across South Korea, China, Canada and the U.S.
Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented ownership, while Elaine Lim of Keller Williams Commercial represented Kolmar.
“As we sought to find a new location for our United States headquarters, it was immediately clear that there was no destination quite like Glenpointe in the metro NYC market,” said Jason Lee, chief financial officer of Kolmar USA. “We are confident that Glenpointe will be the perfect place to inspire and engage our employees and clients as we seek to grow our North American business in the years to come.”
In announcing the deal, Sanzari said it has negotiated 79,868 square feet of leases at Glenpointe since the start of 2022, attracting a range of companies including Leica Camera, Axia Women’s Health, Agam Capital Management and Moroch Partners Inc. The property at the nexus of interstates 80 and 95 has a 26,000-square-foot fitness center, a 22,000-square-foot multipurpose outdoor amenity space, 700 hotel rooms across three on-site hotels and a host of casual and fine dining options, among other amenities.
Ownership also recently introduced FLEX Powered by Glenpointe, a 5,300-square-foot flexible co-working space tailored to the needs of small businesses. Meantime, the campus benefits from a partnership with Better Spaces, a tenant engagement service that operates via The Pointe, an on-site community lounge, as well as virtually through the Better Spaces app, to offer tenants more than 40 programs and classes per week.
“Workplaces today must be flexible and provide a unique environment for companies,” said Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “Employees are now expecting an elevated office experience that combines a wide range of amenities paired with a high degree of flexibility and convenience that is often hard to find in the market. We are deeply proud of the corporate experience that we have cultivated at Glenpointe and its continued standing as northern New Jersey’s premier workplace for today’s workforce.”
