A landlord has completed $3 million in upgrades at a 36,000-square-foot office building in Parsippany, including a new glass façade and atrium that have modernized the property.
The firm, Commercial Realty Group, joined its brokerage and design teams this week to unveil the project at 111 Littleton Road. The renovations have revitalized the 42-year-old building at the nexus of interstates 80 and 287, the firm said, touting it as a new destination for small businesses seeking high-end space.
CRG completed the project in tandem with W. Joshua Levering of NAI James E. Hanson, the property’s listing broker, and a design team that included Paul Newman of Kimmerle Newman Architects and Mario Iannelli of Dewberry.
“Small business is the driver of employment and the economy in New Jersey and the U.S,” said Andrew H. Billing, general manager for CRG. “As a small business, we appreciate every day, the fantastic access this location gives us and the energy that the cool design by Paul Newman provides. This is a rare combination.”
The firm believes that “other similarly minded small businesses will recognize this” and join the building’s existing tenants, which include CRG and Strategic Micro Systems, Billing said. The New Jersey Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation also plans to move its headquarters to 111 Littleton.
Michael A. Walsh, president of the CRG affiliate Corporate Contracting Inc., oversaw the renovations. Along with the new façade, the plans included increased parking, new landscaping, new restrooms and full common area upgrades.
Completion comes two years after CRG acquired the building, which was built in 1976 and had become outdated. The milestone drew elected officials alongside the professional teams.
