Cust Investments has completed a new 200-unit midrise apartment complex in Hunterdon County’s Raritan Township.
Known as Enclave at Raritan, the community is the latest addition to the 50-acre property around the HealthQuest athletic facility off Route 31. That figures to be a key attraction for renters at the collection of one- and two-bedroom homes, who are also less than a half-mile from a host of retail and restaurant options and minutes from downtown Flemington.
March Associates Construction was the construction manager for the project at 308 Route 31, which was designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners. Greystar manages the four-story property, which is wrapped around a parking garage and caters to hybrid workers with in-unit and community work-from-home amenities.
“Enclave at Raritan is the realization of a vision we had of everything a resident could ever need being available in one walkable campus,” said Jack Cust, chairman of Cust Investments. “We have brought an urban living experience to Hunterdon County, which is an exceptional place to live. The new apartment community enhances that experience with features and events suited to every renter’s individual tastes.”
In announcing the project’s completion, Cust noted that HealthQuest has indoor and outdoor pools, a children’s gymnastics studio, dance studios for adults and kids, cycle and Pilates classes, an extensive strength training space, a sauna, showers and a restaurant. The Enclave occupies the former site of a baseball dome that has since been moved to the nearby Diamond Nation complex.
Cust also pointed to Hunterdon County’s highly regarded school districts and recreation options, its highway access and its proximity to Princeton University. The Enclave, meantime, is close to major employers such as Johnson & Johnson, Amazon, Rutgers University, Bristol Myers Squibb, Hunterdon Medical Center and others.
