The owner of a 69,000-square-foot industrial building in South Brunswick has hired Cushman & Wakefield to market the property.
Brokers with the firm said the building, located at 5 Boxal Drive, is available for sale or lease starting next month. The 12.6-acre property also includes excess land for future expansion.
C&W Vice Chairman Charles Fern is leading the assignment, touting the offering as one of the only availabilities of its size in the booming Exit 8A submarket.
“The owner purchased this property for his own use and has since outgrown the building,” Fern said. “We are bringing this offering to market at a time when there is virtually no product available for purchase or lease. We anticipate it will draw significant interest from investors, users and potential owners (and) occupiers.”
The building has 32-foot clear ceiling heights, heavy power, 10 dock doors and one drive-in door, offering a location 32 miles from Port Newark-Elizabeth and 43 miles from New York City.
