An attorney with Day Pitney LLP’s real estate and land use team in New Jersey is now a partner, in one of 11 newly announced promotions across the firm’s East Coast offices.
Based in Parsippany, Nicole M. Magdziak assists developers, property owners and corporations with residential, commercial, industrial and multifamily development and redevelopment, including land use and zoning, rezoning, affordable housing, redevelopment law, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, according to her bio. Her practice also includes financial incentives, such as long- and short-term tax exemptions, as part of a practice that spans the full spectrum of a project from purchase agreements and leases to approvals and entitlements.
Magdziak is among five newly promoted partners across Day Pitney’s practice groups in New Jersey — joining Gretchen E. Blauvelt-Marquez, Michael J. Fitzpatrick, James M. Leva and Thomas F. J. O’Mullane — and among 11 across the entire firm.
“Our elevation of 11 lawyers to partnership, across our practice groups and offices, is a testament to the quality of these attorneys and our confidence in the future of the firm,” said Thomas Goldberg, Day Pitney’s managing partner. “We look forward to our bright future together.”
Magdziak earned her bachelor’s from the University of North Carolina and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
