A franchisee group for VIO Med Spa has tapped Jeffery Realty as its real estate broker for northern New Jersey, as it prepares to open the chain’s first location in the Garden State.
The North Plainfield-based team recently represented the operators, Niraj and Bansari Shah, in their long-term lease at Bergen Town Center in Paramus and Maywood. The business is slated to open this month, as Jeffery brokers William Farkas and Matt Brower seek additional locations in the region on behalf of the franchisees.
“We are thrilled to represent VIO Med Spa and offer its services for the first time in New Jersey,” Niraj said Shah. “VIO’s presence at Bergen Town Center will significantly contribute to the shopping center’s growing reputation as one of the region’s premiere retail destinations. VIO’s plans to occupy space at other locations within New Jersey will provide its market-leading medical aesthetics and wellness programs to residents in need of these valuable services.”
According to Jeffery, the Shahs have the exclusive rights to open multiple VIO franchise locations throughout northern New Jersey. Niraj Shah has been in the investment banking sector, while Bansari, his wife and partner, is a former multiunit franchisee of the European Wax Center.
VIO, headquartered in Strongsville, Ohio, is an all-inclusive med spa offering technologies and therapies in the wellness and aesthetics industry, according to a news release. The company currently has 18 locations across nine states, with 32 additional locations scheduled to open by the end of 2023.
