ShopRite Liquors has leased 5,000 square feet in downtown Lodi, in one of three newly announced deals in the borough by RIPCO Real Estate.
The business, which is owned by the ShopRite supermarket chain, has relocated to Mid Towne Plaza at 150-170 Main St. from across the street, according to a news release. Also taking space at the 13,420-square-foot center is Dentistry for Children, which leased 3,838 square feet.
RIPCO’s Deborah Stone represented the landlord in the transactions, noting that the tenants join other new operators at Mid Towne Plaza including Jersey Gyros and Puff N Stuff Smoke Shop. Equity Inc. represented Dentistry for Children.
At 147 Main St., a nearby office building, Stone also represented ownership in a 1,982-square-foot lease by Union Paving and Construction. The company, which specializes in the construction and pavement of bridges, ballfields, major highways and local streets, will occupy the second floor.
“Main Street in Lodi plays a pivotal role in the Bergen County community, where we are witnessing a robust demand for both retail and office spaces along this corridor,” said Stone, a managing director at RIPCO. “Our research has shown that the combination of food and beverage establishments, health and wellness services and grocery stores has cultivated a thriving shopping destination that effectively caters to the day-to-day needs of the local population. With a daily traffic count of 20,307 vehicles, Main Street serves as a one-stop destination for residents to efficiently handle all their errands.”
