A decking company has acquired 2.4 acres in Middlesex County that will meet its need for outdoor storage space, according to a broker with Sheldon Gross Realty.
Located at 104 Main St. in Helmetta, the parcel includes vacant land and several structures. Somerset-based Deck Guardian purchased the site for $925,000, with Sheldon Gross Realty’s Jonathan Glick representing the buyer in the deal.
He noted that Deck Guardian will use the site for outdoor storage, with an emphasis on construction materials. The property is less than three miles from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8A and minutes from routes 18 and 9.
“Helmetta is quite centrally located within New Jersey, and that’s exactly the type of location Deck Guardian was looking for,” said Glick, an executive vice president with Sheldon Gross. “The company is growing rapidly and needed space for storing materials and equipment. This site is clearly an excellent fit.”
