Denholtz Properties has completed a nearly 11,000-square-foot lease in Orlando with one of Florida’s largest suppliers of natural gas, the Red Bank-based firm said Tuesday.
In a news release, Denholtz announced that TECO Peoples Gas will occupy 10,800 square feet of flex industrial space at 3702 Silver Star Road. The company, which serves nearly 390,000 Floridians, is now among the latest tenants at an eight-building complex about 12 miles from Orlando International Airport.
Matt Bates of Homevest Realty represented the tenant, while Bobby Isola of Cite Partners represented Denholtz in the transaction.
“Although Orlando’s residential and economic boom has placed great strain on the supply of multifamily and office space in the market, we are also continuing to see strong demand for industrial/flex space from service-oriented companies like TECO Peoples Gas,” said Kristine B. Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing at Denholtz Properties. “Through providing these companies with modern, well-located spaces, we are able to help them expand their operations and better serve the needs of a rapidly growing population.”
Established in 1895, TECO Peoples Gas operates roughly 11,000 miles of gas mains, Denholtz said. Its new home within the Silver Star Commerce Center provides the company with a well-located, adaptable space to better service customers in the local market.
Silver Star Commerce Center is currently 87 percent leased by 26 different tenants, the landlord said, noting that its buildings range in size from 26,400 to 39,600 square feet. The property is directly west of North John Young Parkway and benefits from nearby access to State Route 434 and U.S Highway 441, along with Interstate 4.
