Dermody Properties has acquired a Gloucester County development site with approvals in place to build more than 214,000 square feet of new industrial space.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, which brokered the sale, the parcel spans 14 acres at 261 Swedesboro Paulsboro Road in Woolwich Township. Approvals allow for a 214,271-square-foot facility with 40-foot clear ceiling heights, two drive-in doors, 39 dock doors, 19 trailer stalls and 169 parking spaces.
Cushman’s Gerry Blinebury, Gary Gabriel, Kyle Schmidt and Brendan McGeary represented Arbok in the sale, the terms of which were not disclosed, with support from local leasing specialists John Gartland and Jonas Skovdal. Dermody is slated to deliver the project in mid-2024.
“We are thrilled to have arranged the successful sale of this property on behalf of Arbok,” Blinebury said. “The fully approved industrial development site is an ideal size to cater to the deepest pool of tenant demand and strategically located immediately off the New Jersey Turnpike, granting convenient access to major cities.”
In a news release, Cushman noted that the site is also minutes from Interstate 295 and 12 miles to the Commodore Barry Bridge, providing a connection to Interstate 95 for access to New York City, Boston, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
