A new ShopRite has opened its doors off Route 208 in Fair Lawn, where it anchors a redeveloped retail property owned by Crossroads Cos.
According to RIPCO Real Estate, the leasing agent for the site, the supermarket has relocated within the borough to its 72,000-square-foot store at 22-00 Maple Ave. The development provides it with a larger space and a more centrally located site with more, better surface parking and traffic light access just off the thoroughfare.
RIPCO’s Curtis Nassau, Dan Zappala and Corrieanne Stein represented ownership at the property, having also brokered leases at Maple Avenue Plaza with Buffalo Wild Wings Go, Bubbakoo’s Burritos, Eden Nails and AT&T. The team is marketing additional space, noting that the area has 237,000 people living and 81,000 people working within a three-mile radius, while citing a recent WalletHub rating that listed Fair Lawn as the No. 3 Best Small City in America.
“In New Jersey, there are few better shopping center anchors than ShopRite,” Nassau, an executive vice president at RIPCO. “They bring in thousands of customers on a daily basis multiple times a week.”
