A logistics firm is set to occupy 401,000 square feet at a sprawling industrial park in Logan Township, under a recent lease with developer Dermody Properties.
The firm, Kenco Logistics, has leased the space at 395 Pedricktown Road within the LogistiCenterSM at Logan complex. The tenant is slated to move in next month and will use the new facility for storage and distribution of its customers’ products, the latest among 90 Kenco warehouse locations.
Marc Isdaner, Mark Chubb and Michael Zerbe of Colliers International represented Dermody Properties in the transaction, according to a news release. Vincent Ranalli and William Goodwin of CBRE represented Kenco.
“We are pleased to welcome Kenco to the growing list of companies at LogistiCenterSM at Logan,” said Gene Preston, partner with Dermody Properties’ east region office. “We believe this building will prove to be a strong addition to Kenco’s transportation and warehouse network.”
The building was designed by Ware Malcomb, while Blue Rock Construction is serving as the contractor for tenant improvements. Dermody is now marketing an additional 80,750 square feet at the building, which sits within a 1,100-acre, master-planned Class A industrial park off Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Plans call for more than 5.5 million square feet of warehouse, distribution and manufacturing space at LogistiCenterSM at Logan. With the project, Dermody aims to capitalize on a location that is only 15 miles from the Delaware River ports in Camden, Philadelphia and Wilmington.
“We are excited to add this facility to our nationwide network of distribution centers,” said David Caines, chief operating officer at Kenco. “We are equally excited to bring new jobs to the area.”
