Walters has completed its latest multifamily project in southern Ocean County, unveiling an age- and income-restricted rental community in Stafford Township.
The developer on Thursday announced the debut of Cornerstone at Stafford, a 100-unit project with apartments designed for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Located at 120 Campbell Blvd., the three-story building has opened within the town’s Manahawkin section, offering a location off Route 72 and Exit 63 of the Garden State Parkway.
Monthly rents range from $874 to $994 for a one-bedroom and from $1,048 to $1,250 for a two-bedroom unit.
“This is a beautiful new building which truly serves the community,” Joe Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters, said in a prepared statement. “It provides a viable housing option for seniors who would like to stay in the area, but might be having trouble finding a place that meets their needs.”
In a news release, Walters touted its emphasis on creative social programming and sustainable construction. Cornerstone at Stafford features a community room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a full kitchen and access to outdoor grills, while individual units have high-end finishes and appliances.
The complex is part of the larger Stafford Park development.
