A developer has taken the wraps off a new 212-unit, luxury apartment community in Parsippany.
The builder, Mill Creek Residential, said it has launched leasing at what it calls Modera Parsippany. Located at 1715 Route 46, the property features units starting at $1,775 for studios and ranging up to $3,525 for its largest two-bedrooms.
It is the third Morris County development for Mill Creek in recent years, following the delivery of two projects near downtown Morristown.
“We are thrilled to build on our continued momentum in 2018 by bringing a best-in-class residential community to Morris County,” Russell Tepper, senior managing director of development for Mill Creek, said in a prepared statement. “Modera Parsippany will provide residents with distinct luxury lifestyle amenities without sacrificing the conveniences of an intimate suburban community — all within a stone’s throw of some of the state’s largest employment markets.”
Apartments feature high-end finishes and appliances, while the overall property houses amenities such as a two-floor fitness center with yoga studio, a saltwater swimming pool with sun deck and a designer clubroom with bar and lounge. In a news release, Mill Creek also touted features including a car care station, a package concierge and a pet-grooming station.
The firm said the community, which has on-site parking, is within walking distance to NJ Transit bus service and is less than an hour from midtown Manhattan. Mill Creek also cited its location less than five minutes from Interstate 80 and its proximity to Morris County’s vast population of Fortune 500 companies.
The property also caters to flexible working habits by offering a fully equipped conferencing facility with a signature coffee bar, Wi-Fi and ample telework venues.
The opening comes three years after Dallas-based Mill Creek, which spun off of Trammell Crow Residential in 2010, opened its 248-unit Modera 44 project in Morristown. The firm has pushing into the state’s luxury apartment sector with high-profile projects, including a recently opened second community in Morristown and a historic rehabilitation project in that produced loft-style units in downtown Jersey City.
“With Parsippany-Troy Hills being a major center of employment in Morris County, it is important that the township continue to position itself as a desirable place to live in the area, and provide options for the kind of housing residents are seeking” Mayor Michael Soriano said. “With Modera Parsippany, Mill Creek is delivering much-needed upscale residences for the area’s workforce, and the community promises to be a vital addition to the residential market here.”
