A developer is set to unveil more than 400 new luxury apartments in Bogota, touting a location along the Hackensack River and one that is minutes from the area’s vast highway network.
PCD Development announced Thursday that it will launch leasing in mid-September for The Atwater, a 421-unit complex at 100 West Fort Lee Road. The property, which is just across the river from Hackensack, includes a mix of studio, one- and two- bedroom homes that will join the growing stock of new apartments in and around the Bergen County seat.
The Marketing Directors serves as the building’s marketing and leasing agent. In a news release, PCD noted that The Atwater is made up of four- and five-story buildings with more than 30,000 square feet of amenity space and offerings such as a clubroom, resident lounge, fitness center and indoor/outdoor business center with co-working spaces.
The developer also pointed to steps it has taken to address the need for cleanliness and social distancing. The indoor amenity areas include air handlers with ultraviolet sanitizers, while the business center has Steelcase Brody “pods” with protective screening for each person.
The community will also use an app-based reservation system for the amenity spaces to ensure appropriate social distancing. Outdoors, the community offers a heated pool and sun deck with grills, an outdoor theater and a riverfront walkway along the Hackensack River.
Apartments will feature high-end interiors, appliances and fixtures, the news release said. Each unit will have a balcony or patio, with some homes offering river views.
PCD also touted the site’s proximity to restaurants and bars, retailers and local services. The property is also a 10-minute drive of Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park Mall and the The Shops at Riverside, with quick access to Interstate 80, the George Washington Bridge and other highways.
