A panel of industry experts will take the stage in just over a week when the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association hosts its annual Developers Night, a popular dinner and networking event that helps kick off the spring conference season.
Slated for March 31 at the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, the program will feature a discussion on how tariffs and taxes impact the industry, with panelists including:
- Chris Murphy, a partner with Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP (moderator)
- Alan Lambiase, director of sales and leasing with River Terminal Development
- Chris Venezia, director of LSRP services with ESA Environmental Consultants
- Wesley Wilcox, partner with G.S. Wilcox & Co.
- Joe Nitti, managing partner with Commercial Realty Partners
The event, which typically draws hundreds of real estate developers, brokers and other service providers, begins with cocktails and networking from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and panel presentation.
“IOREBA’s Developers Night is the highlight event of the year for the New Jersey commercial real estate industry and the panel topic ‘Tariffs and Taxes’ is certainly relevant in the current environment,” said Kurt Kalafsky, founding principal of the Aztec Corp. and IOREBA president.
With roots dating back to 1927, IOREBA is one of the nation’s largest regional commercial real estate organizations of its kind and the oldest industrial and office real estate brokers association in the United States, the group said. Its more than 250 members connect and conduct business in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, while evolving and expanding its educational and networking opportunities.
