A new 150-unit luxury apartment complex in Old Bridge is now more than 50 percent leased after hitting the market last fall.
Its developers — BNE Real Estate Group, LPZ and Sterling Properties — say they’ve attracted renters to what’s known as 99 Bridge thanks in part to its upscale amenities and quick access to routes 9 and 18. Located at 99 Old Amboy Road, the property is also a short distance from grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants and bus transportation to New York City.
BNE’s Marc Pantirer said the response proves that there is still high demand in the local market “for high-end, maintenance-free rental living.”
“We’re attracting renters from all over the map — from nearby surrounding towns to New York City and Staten Island, and across the country — people are drawn to our brand-new residences, our robust lifestyle amenities and the convenience of our location just off Route 9,” said Pantirer, a partner with BNE. “It’s been a hot spot for residents relocating for work.”
Monthly rents at 99 Bridge start from $2,295, with grand opening incentives, according to a news release. Along with high-end apartments, the property has amenities such as a two-story resident lounge, modern fitness facilities with virtual training technology, a co-working lounge with private offices, a coffee bar and children’s playroom, among others, plus a host of outdoor common spaces.
The developers noted that Old Bridge is about 25 miles south of Manhattan, adding that the rental community is near the nexus of routes 9 and 18. Along with daily commuter bus service, the township is home to more than 300 acres of developed park land and athletic facilities, including the sprawling Cheesequake State Park and Old Bridge Waterfront Park.
