A door maker has taken more than 65,000 square feet of industrial space as part of a newly completed, full-building lease in Bayonne, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced.
The tenant, United Porte, is expanding its operation with its move to 8 Hook Road. Its new 65,300-square-foot facility is minutes from Route 440, Interstate 78 and the New Jersey Turnpike, providing quick access to nearby port terminals and other destinations, with features such as 5,000 square feet of office space, 18 tailboards and three drive-in doors.
BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz, Vice President Eric Koons and Sales Associate Benito Abbate represented the landlord, New 8 Hook LLC, while Jeffery Realty represented the tenant.
“After recent building and site improvements and multiple offer negotiations, we are pleased to announce that United Porte has signed a long-term lease at 8 Hook Road,” Metz said. “The functional space features 20-foot-plus high ceilings and 11 loading docks with unparalleled access to the major transportation arteries in the region. United Porte will relocate to Bayonne and expand its door manufacturing business to service its growing customer base.”
