Dresdner Robin has found a new home in downtown Jersey City, touting an office with expanded amenities that still gives it a central hub for its customer base in the Northeast.
The land use consultancy, a fixture in the city for more than 45 years, has opened the space at 30 Montgomery St. after relocating from nearby Evertrust Plaza. The new headquarters provides its employees with additional conference and meeting areas, access to street-level retailers and renovated common areas, plus an on-site garage and direct access to the Exchange Place PATH Station and Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service.
It will serve as a base of operations for a growing team and a project portfolio that’s spread primarily across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and metro Philadelphia.
“This new space has been thoughtfully designed to support diverse working styles, which will enhance productivity, foster innovation and empower our employees — whether they’re collaborating in the office or working remotely,” said Tony Ianuale, Dresdner Robin’s chief operating and chief financial officer. “We are excited to deepen our commitment to Jersey City with our move back toward Montgomery Street, where Dresdner Robin first established its offices. Returning here feels like coming full circle, and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients and community from this vibrant location.”
Founded in 1978, the firm has also located its headquarters in the city’s Powerhouse Arts District and most recently at Evertrust Plaza, while opening satellite offices in Fairfield and Cherry Hill that are still operational. Its work throughout the tristate area include several major projects in Jersey City, including community redevelopment planning for Coles Park, site planning and infrastructure design at 30 Hudson and environmental, engineering, planning and survey services at Kushner Real Estate Group’s landmark Journal Squared multifamily project.
NAI James E. Hanson Senior Vice President Susan Mason led the team representing Dresdner Robin at 30 Montgomery, a 15-story, 300,000-square-foot tower near the Hudson River. Cushman & Wakefield’s David DeMatteis and Mina Shehata represented ownership at the property.
“This location offers a prime setting in Jersey City with excellent access to amenities, transportation and room for growth,” Mason said. “We’re confident this move will support Dresdner Robin’s continued success and innovation for years to come.”
