A lighting manufacturer is expanding its Northeast distribution center footprint as part of a recently announced, 264,085-square-foot lease in Cranbury with Duke Realty.
The real estate investment trust said Thursday that it had inked the full-building deal with the tenant, RAB Lighting, at 10 Broadway Road. The company will relocate to the newly developed property, which is part of Duke’s recently acquired New Jersey industrial portfolio.
“We are pleased that we could meet RAB Lighting’s distribution and space needs with our new building at 10 Broadway Road,” said Ben Rosen, vice president of leasing and development for Duke Realty in New Jersey.
RAB Lighting manufactures indoor and outdoor LED lighting and controls. Its new home features 36-foot clear heights, 42 dock doors, two drive-in doors and 55-foot-by-45-foot bay spacing. Duke also touted a 130-foot trailer court that surrounds the building as well as parking for 89 cars and 11 trailers.
“This building provides RAB with excellent access to I-95 and includes the state-of-the-art features we need for efficient storage and fast distribution to our customers in the Northeast,” said Ross Barna, CEO of RAB Lighting.
Duke added 10 Broadway to its portfolio last October as part of a 3.1 million-square-foot acquisition from Bridge Development Partners, which included six buildings and two development sites.
Chuck Fern with Cushman & Wakefield represented both parties in the transaction, while Rosen and Caitlin English represented Duke Realty.
