Two new food concepts are set to join a highway shopping center in Edison, following a nearly 3,000-square-foot deal brokered by Jeffery Realty.
Shane Wierks, a broker associate with the firm, said it represented both sides in the 2,816-square-foot lease at Edison Plaza at Route 1 and Old Post Road. The tenant is an operator that plans to use the space for two concepts, Kulu Desserts and Dumpling Town.
The businesses are set to open in the first quarter of 2018, Wierks said. The operator has about a half-dozen locations overall, mostly in New York City, but also including one in northern New Jersey.
Its new location is a 104,000-square-foot retail center anchored by a ShopRite.
