A soon-to-be redeveloped retail property in Middletown has lured two new tenants, under a set of newly announced transactions by The Goldstein Group.
The brokerage firm said Monday that it represented Devimy Equities, the redeveloper of the property at 1287 Route 35, in the leases with The Learning Experience and Mavis Discount Tire. The operators committed to 10,000 and 6,055 square feet, respectively.
The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Mark Handwerker completed the assignment on behalf of the Paramus-based retail brokerage. Nick Vanella of Com Realty Group represented The Learning Experience, while Barry Milberg of Treeline Real Estate represented Mavis.
Devimy Equities is redeveloping the site, formerly a Steak & Ale Restaurant, into a 21,000-square-foot strip mall. Its newest tenants include one of the nation’s fastest-growing academies of early education and one of the largest independent multi-brand tire dealers in the U.S.
