The owner of an industrial and flex park in Englewood has inked 20,000 square feet in leasing activity, in a series of transactions brokered by NAI James E. Hanson.
In a news release, NAI Hanson said it represented the landlord, West Forest Avenue Industrial Inc., in the four deals at the Van Brunt Business Center. The tenants include:
- Lotte Global Logistics LLV, which leased 7,500 square feet at 29 Smith St. The firm, a subsidiary of Hyundai Logiem, is a South Korean integrated logistics company that will use the space to support its logistics, procurement, storage and transportation operations;
- DY Imports, a distribution business, which leased 12,500 square feet at 49-53 Smith St.;
- Ami Bijoux, a distribution business, which leased 5,000 square feet to at 14 West Forest Ave.
- Harvest Wholesale Imports, which renewed its 5,000-square-foot lease at 17 Smith St. The wholesale distributor of gift, floral, craft, packaging and event décor items uses the space for warehousing and distribution.
NAI Hanson’s Ken Lundberg, Steve Pastor and Patrick Lennon represented the landlord, while also serving as the tenant broker for DY Imports, Ami Bijoux and Harvest Wholesale Imports. Young Lee of Eastern Realty represented Lotte Global Logistics.
The firm said both DY Imports and Ami Bijoux are upgrading from smaller units within the Van Brunt Business Center, which is less than 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. The property is also close to Route 4, Interstate 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Palisades Parkway.
“Our clients needed suitable spaces to house their quickly growing distribution businesses while maintaining immediate access to New York City and the markets surrounding the area,” Lundberg said. “We were able to negotiate a lease renewal on behalf of one of them and find the remaining three ideal, larger spaces in the same office park to ensure seamless and easy moves for the companies.”
