McManimon, Scotland & Baumann LLC has added to its team of environmental and land use attorneys with one of its newest hires.

The Roseland-based firm announced the recent addition of Alexander D. Lehrer as an associate. His primary practice areas include environmental and land use law. He also brings experience in litigation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, or CERCLA, also known as the Superfund law.
Lehrer’s other experience includes representing both municipal planning and zoning boards and developers before planning and zoning boards.
He has a bachelor’s in history from Rutgers University and a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, according to his bio on the McManimon Scotland website. After graduation, Lehrer served as a law clerk in the state Superior Court’s Union vicinage.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for New Jersey.
