A new 114-room Everhome Suites has opened in the Somerset section of Franklin, occupying a site that it acquired under a 2024 deal by The Goldstein Group.
The brokerage firm represented the seller, Engle Burman at Somerset LLC, in the sale of the 2.6-acre tract at 1860 Easton Ave. That set the stage for Everhome Suites, part of Choice Hotels International Inc., to plant a flag at a location that’s minutes from downtown New Brunswick and next to a QuickChek gas and convenience store and The Bristal Assisted Living Facility.
Other hotels in the area include Hampton Inn, Double Tree By Hilton, Comfort Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, Sonesta Suites, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn and Suites.
“The Easton Avenue and Interstate 287 corridor is known for the many hotels that are in the area,” said Neil Goldstein, principal at The Goldstein Group. “Choice had been targeting the area to add a hotel, and this site fit their requirements.”
