An electrical products distributor and wholesaler has acquired a furniture store in North Plainfield, in an $850,000 transaction arranged by Remco Realty Group.
The brokerage firm said it represented the seller of the former Eber’s Furniture building, a 15,000-square-foot property at 945 Route 22 West. The buyer was Greenbrook Electronics.
Remco President Peter Gallicchio handled the transaction for the Somerset-based firm, noting that the site occupies the busy Route 22 retail corridor with area demographics that include a population of more than 230,000 within a five-mile radius. The building sits on two acres with 128 feet of frontage, drive-in loading, a large showroom and pylon signage.
The property is surrounded by national retailers as Costco, BJ’s, Stop & Shop, Kohl’s and a long list of others.
