An ophthalmology practice is coming to a Branchburg office complex after signing a 1,504-square-foot lease with Larken Associates.
The landlord on Tuesday announced the commitment from Abessi Eye Care & Surgery, which will open next month at Branchburg Commons. The location at 3322 Route 22 West will house a new practice for Dr. Bryan Abessi, who is coming out of a busy northern New Jersey ophthalmology group.
Berkshire Hathaway – Deluccia Commercial Group represented Larken Associates, while Weichert Commercial represented the tenant.

Larken, which is based in the borough, touted the center’s location along Route 22 West and its proximity to routes 28, 31, 202 and 206 and interstates 78 and 287. Abessi Eye Care & Surgery will join other medical and professional office users at the 15-building, 116,526-square-foot complex, which sits on 19 acres.
The new practice will offer services including routine eye exams, cornea and retina care, cataracts, glaucoma care and diabetic eye exams.
“While there are many challenges in opening a business during the COVID-19 pandemic, the responsive and helpful team at Larken Associates ensured that every aspect of the leasing and buildout process for my new office has been seamless,” Abessi said. “I appreciate their hard work in helping me realize my dream through the opening of my new practice in Branchburg.”
