A provider of packaging, retail and janitorial supplies has leased more than 16,000 square feet of industrial space in East Rutherford, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
Brokers say BetterPak, a third-generation family business, will use the space at 99 Murray Hill Parkway to support its growing distribution needs in both local and international markets. The company is moving into a unit that has two tailgates, four drive-ins, 28-foot ceiling heights and 935 square feet of office space, as it expands beyond an existing location in nearby Carlstadt.
NAI Hanson’s Kenneth Lundberg, Steve Pastor, Patrick Lennon and Lorenzo Lambiase represented the landlord, 99 Murray Hill Parkway Inc., in the 16,438 square-foot transaction. Jeff Chaus of Chaus Realty represented the tenant.
“This deal truly encapsulates our unparalleled ability to operate within the increasingly tight and ultra-competitive Meadowlands market,” Lundberg said. “With a limited pipeline of new development and existing available properties in this area, the Meadowlands market can be difficult to navigate for tenants and landlords alike. We were pleased to work on our client’s behalf to welcome another quality tenant to 99 Murray Hill and enable BetterPak to tap into the in-demand location to continue to fulfill orders for customers in the tristate area and beyond.”
Situated on 8.4 acres, 99 Murray Hill Parkway is a 142,624-square-foot structure located just south of MetLife Stadium. The site offers quick access to the New Jersey Turnpike, the George Washington Bridge and routes 3, 17 and 120.
